So there you have it, 3 rounds and a final of the most hilarious banger racing you'll ever see!  Not once did any pair manage to complete a race before the time limit ran out!  Was that down to the fun they were having, or purely because they found it too hard to get around the track? Lol.

Congratulations to Sleepy & Jack on winning the Final, with Mark & Billy coming home in 2nd place and Divvy & Kerry finishing third.  And well done to everyone for getting into the spirit and raising mine!  Love it!

Wow!  They didn't disappoint!  There was some close, fast racing there!  Having taken the wins in the first two heats, Jim Burkett almost made it a hat trick in round three, but Paul Kenealy wasn't letting Jim have all his own way and crossed the line to take the win from Jim on splits!  Exciting stuff guys, well done!  Having said that, Jim's not a man to let a loss get him down, he's often said how much he loves racing his F2 at Brentwood RC, and to prove the point, he then went out and won the Final!  Congratulations Jim, you're a legend!

2L SALOONS

Moving on to the 2L Saloons now, and tonight we had 11 out to play.  In amongst the "big boys" was young Jatdan Webb, this lad had come on in leaps and bounds over the past year or so, and is definitely a future champion, keep your eyes on this lad!

Another great win in the Final made it a full house for Jack Booker tonight, well done Jack.  Three laps later, Mark Brewster crossed the line to tale 2nd place, and our rapidly becoming little superstar, Jaydan Webb finished in 3rd place.  Jim Burkett came home in 4th place, with George Flack taking 5th.  A great finish to a great night of racing for the 2L Saloons, well done every body, great racing from you all.

The evening finished with another crash-fest for the bangers, individual this time, with the usual end of evening DD.  Packed full of carnage and wrecking, the last running Junior was 246 Owen Fenciuk, and there was a draw for the Senior win between 501 Billy Saunders and 383 Divvy; well done fellas, a great finish to yet another great evening.

Take care all, see you all at the Cow Shed again soon,

Gill Goldstone.
