CRUNCH TIME!
​
Time once again for the heavy metal of RC Bangers, or rather the Ally Bangers! Loved by some, hated by some, but always providing plenty of cheers and laughter! In addition tonight, we also had ABS Bangers (just for fun) and the Ally Super Bangers. Quality, not quantity is a popular saying in RC meetings, and tonight was no exception. Numbers were lower tonight than usual, but to be fair, we were battling with the Roy Rawlins Testimonial meeting at Arena Essex, so high numbers were not expected; but that didn't stop us having a great meeting! Was good to see Rob Gymer and Owen Dack back at the Cow Shed once again; we haven't seen them in a while, always good to see visitors making an appearance. Also returning after a lengthy absence was half of The Shunters race team, Alvin and Billy Harvey, good to see you again boys! We also welcome Jordan Webb, making his debut in RC's and young Charlie Barrett, who received his first car for his birthday this week! Great to see you all guys!

Some great races there! The Shunters were back on wrecking form, taking some awesome shots! Midge had some fun with whoever got near him, and Slimadey enjoyed his wrecking spree too! Owen was shocked to hear he'd won the first round, especially as this was his debut with an Ally Banger! A great win for Rob in round two, with a five lap lead over Dylan. Dylan then came back and took the chequered flag for round three, with a seven lap lead over Rob! And a shocked Tom took the win in the final from Dan on splits! Great racing and wrecking all round guys, well-done!

DD
Geoff almost missed the DD due to severe damage, but having run out of Ally, a quick repair with a Coke tin got him on the track once again! As with all DD's, they dropped out one by one, until it came down to Alvin and Divvy left running. Alvin then crept round the track, gave Divvy a gentle tap, knocked him onto his roof and so took the DD win! Well-done Alvin!

So, some great racing there from Rob, with three heat wins and the chequered flag for the final too! Well-done Rob! A humongous cheer from Big Dave when he heard the Final result and found he's come 2nd! Some great hits too, with the usual crowd choosing to wreck rather than race! Well-done guys, some great moves!
DD
Another great DD, with the final battle coming down to Divvy and Tubbs. both guys wanted the win, and the hits on each other were going in thick and fast! Tubbs took a run up to Divvy, T-Boned him, and rolled, leaving Divvy to take yet another DD win! Well-done guys, great fun!
ALLY SUPER BANGERS
Last but not least we have the Super Bangers, basically 10th scale Drifts with an Ally Shell. Only four gracing the track tonight, but none the less, still some great racing! And it was good to see Midge joining the fun too!

So maximum points for Dylan, bringing him up to 2nd place in the points chart, just one point behind Jack Booker! Should be interesting next meeting then! Chris was happy with his 2nd place in round one, his best finish to date, and Big Dave was more than pleased with his 2nd place in the final, just missing out on the win on splits! Great racing guys, well-done!
