SURREY STREET SQUAD Vs THE WARLORDS TEAM CHALLENGE & 1300 STOCK CARS
Time once again for two well known teams in the world of full size banger racing to visit the track at Brentwood in 1/12th scale! Last year this event proved very popular with The Suicide Squad Vs The Condoms, this year we went for The Surrey Street Squad Vs The Warlords, and making it even more fun, both teams race in white! Drivers arrived with a plain white unpainted shell, cut and mounted, were then allocated stickers and a team at random.

Round one got underway, and the confusion of all white cars created absolute mayhem! Carnage and chaos all around, but it didn't stop both 203 Jack Booker and 205 Koonta coming through and taking the first two wins for The Warlords, well done guys! Scores added and The Surrey Street Squad won the round, 30 points to 26 for The Warlords.

In round two, 555 Dan Morgan took the win for The Surrey Street Squad and 205 Koonta took the win for The Warlords. Once again the round win went to The Surrey Street Squad with 30 points, with The Warlords scoring 27 points.
So now the overall scores stood at The Surrey Street Squad - 60 points and The Warlords - 53 points.

Round three, and again the winning drivers were 555 Dan Morgan and 205 Koonta. Yet again The Surrey Street Squad won the round with 30 points, The Warlords scored 26 points.
So it was all looking good for The Surrey Street Squad, now leading with 90 points to The Warlords 79 points.

An All-In Final certainly added more fun to the mix, with all but two drivers making it to the track! first across the line and taking maximum points for The Warlords was 203 Jack Booker, 3 laps ahead of fellow team mate 501 Billy Saunders. In 3rd place for The Warlords was 676 Bob Beswick, and coming home in 4th place for The Surrey Street Squad was 555 Dan Morgan. Crossing the line in 5th place for The Surrey Street Squad was 595 L J Saunders and in 6th place was 170 Rock for The Surrey Street Squad. 383 Divvy took 7th place for The Warlords, and in 8th place was 205 Koonta, also for The Warlords. Finishing in 9th place for The Warlords was 58 Darren Howard, and coming home in 10th place for The Surrey Street Squad was 568 McKenzie Webb. A great race and and great finish! Well done all!

A couple of minutes later we had the overall scores, and today's winners were The Warlords with a score of 125 points to The Surrey Street Squad's 122 points! Just 3 points in it! But remember, this is only the first leg, the guys will have to do it all again on 7th December for the 2nd leg to decide the 2019 Champions!

The 1300's were out in force tonight, with 20 cars split into three heats.

Heat One - Three straight wins for 555 Dan Morgan, with 58 Darren Howard taking 2nd in rounds one and three and 570 Rob Gymer coming home in 2nd place in round two. Third place went to 375 Taylor-Jay Liles in rounds one and two, and 100 Cain Harding in round three.
​
Heat Two - Three straight wins for 205 Koonta, with 595 L J Saunders taking 2nd place in round one and 383 Divvy in rounds two and three. 383 Divvy also took 3rd place in round one, with 595 L J Saunders taking 3rd in round two and 29 Stitch Donovan in round three.
​
Heat Three - Three straight wins yet again, this time for 203 Jack Booker. 2nd place in each round went to 662 Midge, and 3rd places went to 329 Nick Parish in rounds one and three, and his son 829 Alfie Parish in round two.
​
C Final - A win for 107 Jordan Webb, with 331 Dinky Donovan coming home in 2nd place and 29 Stitch Donovan finishing in 3rd place.
​
B Final - 570 Rob Gymer was first across the line, taking the win on splits from 375 Taylor-Jay Liles, with 59 Caitlyn Howard coming home in 3rd place.
​
A Final - 205 Koonta was first across the line to take the glory and coming home 2 laps later was 203 Jack Booker. 3rd place went to 555 Dan Morgan.

DESTRUCTION DERBY
Our usual evening Finale saw plenty of chaos and mayhem all around the track. Despite all the destruction, 53 Harry Palmer managed to keep going and was last Junior running, and then went on to take the DD win! Well done Harry!
