RAMP BANGERS & 1300 STOCK CARS

Time for some fun tonight, with the laying of the ramp!  Always good fun, we were in for some really good laughs tonight.  23 bangers of varying shapes and sizes made it to the track.  22 John Hillyard cut and prepared a Jag limo shell, identical to 383 Divvy's, and I lost count of how many times Divvy found himself watching the wrong car!  603 Chris Kerrison and 114 Ian Ardley returned with their stretch limo's, wondering whether they'd actually make it over the ramp at all!  Round one only produced 23 laps from the winner, 383 Divvy, with the time running out before the laps could be completed!  Many were getting caught up on the ramp and many were launched off the ramp into the centre!  It was absolute chaos, but judging by the laughter, everyone was having great fun, even 205 Koonta cracked a smile!  Midge spent most of the races standing in the track centre so he could return any cars to the race that were either caught up in the pile up's across the ramp or in the centre green!

FINAL - Again, no one managed to complete the full set of laps, and so the results were based on the 5 minutes racing time.  54 Alec crossed the line to take the win, with 205 Koonta claiming 2nd place, 6 laps behind Alec.  233 Dave finished in 3rd place with 33 laps, and 4th place went to 25 Carl Maslen.  Carl's son. 33 Joe, followed him home just one lap later, and 174 Cameron fared well to finish in 6th place.  Good fun had by one and all, well done guys!

DD - The end of evening Destruction Derby was the usual chaotic carnage!  603 Chris Kerrison was the last Senior running, but our young Prince of the DD, 53 Harry Palmer prevented Chris from taking the overall win, claiming the win for himself!  Well done Harry, you do love a DD, don't you?
