ESSEX JUNIOR BANGER SERIES (rnd 3),

ALLOY BANGERS & ALLOY SUPER BANGERS

Back to our Junior Banger Series for the title of Essex Junior Champion, and we're halfway through!  Add to that the popular metal crunching Alloy Bangers and the Alloy Super Bangers, and we were in for an afternoon of good fun!

JUNIOR BANGERS

As usual, we added some obstacles to the mix, the chicanes, the ramp and today a tunnel, all for fun, and today we mixed things up a little more by putting both groups (years 1 - 6 & years 7 - 11) out in a final together!  We then allocated points as per their group, so if a year 1 - 6 driver came 3rd, they'd still receive the points for a final win; you get the picture!

DESTRUCTION DERBY's

The ABS Junior DD was the usual crash-fest, with our youngsters giving it all they've got to destroy the opposition and keep their car running!  The victor was 103 Luke Poole, a nice end to his successful afternoon; congratulations Luke.

In the Alloy DD, the sound of metal on metal resounded around the track, with some awesome follow-ins and brutal wrecking!  Keeping his wreck running and taking the DD win was 103 Paul Foreman, well done Paul!

So as another great meeting comes to a close, we say a very big thank you to everyone who attended today, we do appreciate that some of you drive many miles to get here!  Many thanks to all who provided the photos, always grateful for those, and many thanks to Midge and Crew for hosting yet another great meeting.

Have a good week people, see you all again soon.
