FINAL

With time to spare, the decision was taken to run an all-in final!  With the damage having been savage, not everyone could make it to the track, but the North managed to field 21 drivers, and the South fielded 24 drivers, exceptional considering! Chaos ensued from the off, and the damage received was brutal!  Greg Chitty, Timmy Deans and Danza all failed to register any laps for the South, and likewise, Alan Clarke, Kirsty Gray, Paul Foreman and Ant Long failed to register for the South.  Both Alvin Harvey and Ian Ardley managed just one lap each, taking 38th and 37th places for the North.  Wayne Gray and Divvy completed 2 laps each for the North and finished in 36th and 35th places.  Craig Chitty completed 3 laps to take 34th place for the South, and both Martin Peters and Adam Brown completed 4 laps to take 33rd and 32nd for the South.  Finishing 31st and 30th was Billy Harvey and Darren Howard completed 5 laps each for the North.  Jimmy Galloway completed 7 laps and claimed 29th place for the South, and Jade Mason, also completing 7 laps, took 28th place for the North.  Completing 8 laps each, Chris Summerhill and Jake Lucas finished in 27th and 26th places.  Nine laps placed Sean Foley in 25th place for the North,  and both Josh Mackey for the South and Jack Booker for the North completed 10 laps each to take 24th and 25th places.  Eleven laps placed Ross Mason in 22nd place for the North.  Jay Ravell finished in 21st place with 12 laps for the North, and also with 12 laps, and finishing in 20th place was Mickey Galloway for the South.  For the South, Craig Jelley completed 15 laps to take 19th place, and Dickie Boy finished in 18th place for the North with 16 laps.  Jason Selway and Dean Conyard both completed 17 laps each for the South to take 17th and 16th places.  Aaron Lydon finished in 15th place for the North with 18 laps, Collin Roberts finished in 14th place for the South, also with 18 laps, and Northerner, Connor Harvey also completed 18 laps and finished in 13th place.  12th place went to Gary Baker for the South with 19 laps, and with 20 laps, Michael Collins finished in 11th place for the North.  Peter Hodder finished in 10th place for the South with 21 laps, and 3 laps ahead, finishing in 9th place for the North was Nathan Webb with 24 laps.  Also completing 24 laps, and claiming 8th place was Stuart Tinker.  Lewis Harvey claimed 7th place for the North with 26 laps, and completing 27 laps for the South and taking 6th place was Dan Benham.  Coming home in 5th place with 30 laps for the South was Danny Lucas, and 32 laps gave Ian Lane 5th place for the South.  Ian Burdett completed 33 laps for the South to take 3rd place, Dylan Ellis completed 34 laps for the North and finished in 2nd place, and, despite all the odds, Olly Goodman completed the full 35 laps to take the chequered flag; Top man!

DD

With a difference of 355, and 150 points on offer in the DD, it was now impossible for the North to catch up, time for the South to celebrate in style!  And in style they did, by taking all 150 points!  Josh Mackey was the last junior running and the winner of the DD was none other than Mr Collin Roberts!  Congratulations boys!

So the South finished with 1398 points, the North with 893 points.  Congratulations to everyone who took part, I've lost count of how many people have told me what an epic meeting this was!  I'm just so sorry I wasn't there to witness the action for myself!  But there's always next year!  Congratulations to Divvy and Midge for hosting what must be the most talked of meeting this year so far, and congratulations to Dickie Boy for comprising such an awesome meeting, and then having to leave the meeting early to witness the birth of his gorgeous little boy, Teddy!  Well done Rich, you the Daddy!
