METALLICA!
So having raced the plastics last night, we were back at the cow shed this morning for the Ally Bangers, Ally Superbangers and some ABS fun!

ALLY BANGERS
The Ally Bangers Brentwood Series is shaping up nicely, and we had 15 Ally Bangers on track today. As always, some great racing amongst these guys, with some metal crunching wrecking too! With 515 Conor Harvey leading the points, he wasn't too worried if he was the main target today, with a lead of 54 points, he has a comfortable lead!

Sadly, Conor received a call and the Harvey family had to make an early exit from the meeting, but gladly I can inform you that all is well and thankfully it was a false alarm. Baby's not even born yet, and already giving Daddy grief! A sign of things to come, Conor? With Conor gone, Dylan (currently sitting 2nd in the points) took the opportunity to rack up some extra points and close the gap between them to 40 points, which will definitely make the final meeting much more interesting!
Young Charlie Aylward decided to celebrate his birthday early (Happy Birthday for Tuesday Aylward twins) and had some great results today with 2nd, 3rd and a win in the heats, and taking the chequered flag in the final certainly widened his lovely smile! Well done Charlie!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, quality, not quantity! There may have only been six of them, but boy do these guys know how to have fun! The absolute entertainment of the day! And what about Dave Nash? First time out in this formula, and he only goes and wins the Final! Brilliant! I've never seen the big man so happy! Some great racing, some skillful drifting, an absolute joy to watch! Thanks guys, you made my day!

Two heat wins and the final made divvy a very happy man! Well-done Divvy! A great race win too for Darren Howard, good stuff. Plenty of banter throughout the afternoon too, great days boys!

DD
To finish the day, we held our usual DD's, one for the Ally Bangers, one for the ABS. All the usual capers, some awesome wrecking, and plenty of laughter!
461 Paul Aylward took the DD win with the Ally's and the Kent boys, 106 Phil Jones took the win in the ABS, 107 Rhys giles was the last junior running.
