TEAM CHALLENGE Rnd 2, 2L SALOON STOCKS & F2 STOCK CARS
Time once again to call in the favours, and get your team mates together! Thirteen teams taking part tonight, well, twelve teams and one poor Lone Ranger! Fair play to 455 Shane Clarke for being the only member of Team Smurfs to show his face! Some teams were racing with three drivers, other managed a full team, calling on reserve drivers to fill the gap! We also had the fourth round of the club championships for 2L Saloons and F2 Stocks; so an action packed evening planned for all!

So a clean sweep for Team Chelmsford once again. A couple of seconds for The Krankies and for The Hill Billies. Pineapple Express jumped up in the points now they're fielding a full team; and despite having to miss the last round, our new team, Team Fortnite, consisting of two young lads (118 Cameron Holder & 64 Charlie Barrett) who've only raced a couple of meetings, fought well and settled into the team racing well. Well done everyone!

Team Chelmsford increase their lead to a massive 569 points, 147 points ahead of The Krankies, now sitting in 2nd place. Essex Pirates felt the loss of running with only 3 drivers and dropped a place, so have a lot of work to do to remain in the top three in the final round on 18th August. The Hill Billies fared well and jumped up two places to 4th place, well done guys, Sonny had some great results tonight! And well done to Pineapple Express, jumping five places to 8th place, with a team who's only met each other tonight! Great work guys!

Well done to everyone who took part tonight, win or lose, it's all about the fun! The next round is on 18th August, so we look forward to that one, the decider to see which teams make it to the Final head-to-head!

Clean sweeps there for 22 John and 205 Koonta, well done guys! 27 Jamie managed a couple of second places, but struggled in round three. 383 Divvy didn't have the evening he was hoping for, which you could tell if your were standing nearby and hearing his comments and language! Always entertaining is our Divvy, if somewhat colourful! LOL.
662 Midge fared well, coming home in 3rd place each time, enough to place him in the A Final. 29 Steve struggled with his car this evening, and 371 Sean retired his after just one round!

A tremendous battle ensued for the win in the A Final, 205 Koonta and 22 John were practically neck-and-neck for the entire race, with Koonta just pipping John at the post by a whisker! Well done guys, an epic race!
