PRE '85 BANGERS, DRIFTS & ROBINS
So here we are, back at the cowshed once again! with quite a few of us still buzzing from a special meeting the night before, it was nice to see some new faces attending Brentwood for the first time, though hopefully not the last! A big welcome to you all, hope you have fun!

JUNIORS
First out were our ever enthusiastic Juniors, with 5 young drivers taking to the track today. A great start for 570 Charlie Barnard, taking the win in the first round with a 2 lap lead, then raising the flag again in round two, on splits with up and coming newbie 716 Luke Want. Luke then went on to claim the win in round three, with a four lap lead over Charlie! So these two were smiling hard, having dominated the racing all afternoon! Well done boys, you are both improving so well!

So a great finish for 716 Luke Want, winning his first Final on just his 3rd/4th meeting! A great start to your RC racing career Luke, I see we are going to have to keep our eyes on you!
SENIOR BANGERS
The big boys were out next, and ready for some brutal wrecking and awesome racing! A couple of wins in heat one for 71 Dylan Ellis, and a win too for 401 Craig Watson; and in heat two, a couple of wins for 205 koonta, battling all the way with 203 Jack Booker, who also took the chequered flag! Well done guys, great racing, as always!

A brutal final, with some gruesome wrecking taking place! 546 Kerry found himself stuck between the post and wires on turn three, making him a prime target for the wreckers! hit after hit after hit left him with a lot of repair work to do, but also with a big smile too! that's the fun of this sport!

A great finish for 205 Koonta, with a five lap lead over 340 Will!

Now the usual rule is one car per meeting, however, 340 Will was granted permission to bring out his scratch built ambulance that he had built specifically for the TURBO reunion that had taken place last night. What a great laugh this created! To be honest, I don't know what was funnier, watching Will every time his ambulance got hit, jumping up in the air and whooping with delight, or Midge, collapsing in hysterics at Will's reaction! Whichever, the whole scenario created an hilarious finish to another brilliant day of racing! Well done to everyone who took part to make this such a memorable day for all!

66 Harley Donovan was the last Junior running, and the win went to his cousin 929 John Donovan. Well done guys!
DRIFTS
Next up were the Drifts, with eight cars making it to the track today on this very snowy afternoon. 205 Koonta dominated the chequered flag, with three heat wins and the Final, but the guys behind him kept up the chase and made him work for it! Well done Koonta, always a cool customer!

RELIANT ROBINS
Last, but by far means not least, we have the 3-pin plugs, sorry, Reliant Robins. Always considered a fun formula, it's good to see numbers rising again, and today we had five Robins making it to the track. Three heat wins and the Final made this a brilliant outing for 71 Dylan Ellis, but the other guys had just as much fun and were all smiling broadly too! Well done guys, always good to see these cars having fun!
