TEAM CHALLENGE FINALS & 1300 STOCK CARS
So, the sun shone brightly, the air was warm and full of emotion, and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! No, not for the race meeting, for my Son & Daughter-In-Law's Wedding Day! As gutted as I was to be missing the meeting, I wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else than where I was; at The Old Rectory, Brentwood, watching my Son marry the love of his life! But enough about one of the best days of my life, I hear you guys all had a great evening too!

TEAM CHALLENGE FINALS
Congratulations to TEAM CHELMSFORD, ESSEX PIRATES, and THE KRANKIES for making it through to group A of the Team Finals. The three rounds throughout the year had produced some epic racing, and all the hard work paid off! Now it was time to zero all points and race for the title! Three rounds at standard points, and a final round with double points up for grabs!

Three great wins for 205 Koonta in heat one, with 183 Shaye finishing 2nd each time, and 22 John coming home in 3rd. In heat two there were three straight wins for 311 Tinker, with 73 Tony and 73 Harry in hot pursuit! Even 662 Midge managed a 3rd place, not a sight you see very often; as we all know, Midge's motto is "Points are for Pussy's", however, he does love to have a race in his 1300 Stock! Round three saw three straight wins for 106 Phil, with 383 Divvy following him across the line each round.
Congratulations to 46 Mark for taking the chequered flag in the C Final, which was then waved again for 403 Daniel in the B Final. 205 Koonta won the A Final with an outstanding 5 lap lead over 183 Shaye. 22 John came home in 3rd place, with 311 Tinker finishing 4th. Well done guys, another great evening of excellent racing!
DESTRUCTION DERBY
To finish the evening off with a "bang", there was the usual DD, which this week was won by our shining star racer, 183 Shaye Hunter! Well done Shaye, you're making a habit of this!
