Today was the turn of the 2L Saloons and F2 Stocks, and our any shell bangers had the added fun of racing around the track and flying over our new ramp!  Popular amongst many, we'd been asked quite a number of times to bring the ramp back, so today was the day!  Again, to allow everyone the opportunity to race, we split the meeting into two sessions, morning and evening.  with 15 bangers this morning, we took the decision to put them all out together, as splitting them into two heats would have been very boring!  Once the racing started, Midge spent the meeting running in and out of the track, retrieving cars that were caught up with the ramp, had flown into the centre, or were caught on the fencing!  By the end of the meeting he was very red in the face, and absolutely shattered, and then he had to do it all again in the evening!  There was lots of laughter today, especially from our ankle-biters when their cars were flying through the air!  All good fun!
