Welcome to the first ever Essex Championship for the 2L Saloon Stocks, held here at Brentwood RC Raceway, and generously sponsored by 205 Kieran "Koonta" Briddock. So we've seen the racers, now we turn to the crashers, and the Christmas Crashers at that! Was really good to many taking up the Christmas theme and decorating their shells accordingly! Juniors were mixed in with Seniors for this end of year fun meeting, with a total of 34 bangers entering the track! So a "smashing" finish to a "smashing" meeting! Big credit to The Dilworth brothers for their excellently built stretch limos! (How long were they?) They were great targets for the entire meeting, was a shame the damage was so severe, they couldn't make the final!

Smart Car Awards today for 25 Sam Townsend and 888 Robert Pinnell, congratulations to you both, excellent effort!

The DD was the usual "crashtastic" affair, resulting in 203 Jack Booker collecting the award for last car running. The "Best Wrecker" award went to 570 Charlie Barnard, and the "Best Wrecked" award went to 257 Dave Lungley. Well done guys!
