Back at the Cow Shed once again, where tonight "the team work makes the dream work"! After the hectic meeting two weeks ago, tonight was a little more relaxed and a little easier to organise!

Round Two of the Team Challenge, with TEAM MENTAL sitting comfortably at the top of the leader board. DILLIGAF were absent tonight, but another team joined the challenge, PARLAND, consisting of Nick "Taz" Parish, Alfie "Little Taz" Parish, Dan Presland and James Presland. Welcome to the competition guys, enjoy yourselves!
A change to the line up for MINI TANKS, with Marie Baddeley dropping out and Scott Hart stepping in; and in DWO, Ronnie Russell and Brett Osborne were unable to attend, so Taylor-Jay Liles stepped up to the mark. With Alex Teece and James Nolan missing from TEAM UPS, Dave Lungley returned to the track to assist the team.

Once again, this heat seemed to be dominated by TEAM METAL, but WEEKEND WARRIORS were hot on their trail! Koonta (TEAM MENTAL) scored a full house, taking the chequered flag for each round, with 2nd places going to Jack Booker (WEEKEND WARRIORS) twice and Jenson McNichol (TEAM MENTAL) twice. Coming home in the 3rd place positions were Jenson McNichol (TEAM MENTAL) and Jack Booker (WEEKEND WARRIORS)! Mark Brewster (KRANKIES) pushed hard and managed 6th, 4th, 7th and 5th. Luke Poole (WEEKEND WARRIORS) fared well and picked up 4th, 5th, 3rd and 6th. Some good result for the other teams too, with Pete Bowley (DWO) picking up a 6th and a 5th; and Alfie Parish (PARLAND) did his team proud with 7th, 7th, 6th and 4th. Phil Roggerman (BENFLEET BASHERS) seemed to enjoy finishing in 8th, as he did it three times, with Taylor-Jay Liles (DWO) liking 9th!

Once again, this heat was dominated by TEAM MENTAL. There were three heat wins for Shaye Hunter (TEAM MENTAL), and Rock (TEAM MENTAL) collected 3rd, 4th, 3rd and 9th. Julian Poole (WEEKEND WARRIORS) claimed the remaining win, as well as 7th, 6th, and 4th. Billy Saunders (KRANKIES) excelled for his team, picking up 5th twice and 2nd twice. Divvy (KRANKIES) fared well with 4th, 2nd, 2nd and 5th. Sleepy (WEEKEND WARRIORS) kept the points totting up with 6th, 3rd, 7th and 3rd. Dan Morgan (DWO) finished 9th, 7th, 4th and 11th, with Nick Parish (PARLAND) collecting 5th, 17th, 12th and 13th.

So congratulations to TEAM MENTAL, winning the 2nd round of the Team Challenge and retaining their comfortable lead overall. The WEEKEND WARRIORS finished in 2nd place, 4 points ahead of the KRANKIES. PARLAND fared well and finished in 4th place, with TEAM TANK, MINI TANKS and the NOMADS all finishing in joint 5th. DWO finished in 9th place, the BENFLEET BASHERS were in 10th and TEAM UPS finished 11th.
Another great evening of Team Racing, with some awesome crashing too! Here's looking forward to the final round on 11th June.

An extremely surprised Phil Roggerman raised the chequered flag for the B Final. Despite being told a number of times that he's won, he wouldn't believe it until he saw the printed result! Then to discover that he'd won by a clear 11 laps almost knocked him off his feet! Moments like this is what makes this sport so great!
The A Final provided an very exciting finish, with the top three drivers all finishing on splits! Koonta raised the chequered flag, with Mark Brewster coming home an extremely close 2nd, and Jack Booker a close 3rd! Excellent driving guys, well-done!

What a great win for Ian Ardley in the B Final, 10 laps clear of Jade Mason, with Midge finishing in 3rd place. Sadly George Flack managed just 5 laps before having to retire from the race.
The A Final, as with the 2L's, had a close finish with Shaye Hunter and Jim Burkett battling for the win, Shaye just managing to just grab the win on the finish line! Luke Poole came home in 3rd place, with Alfie Parish crossing the line to take 4th place. Great to see the youngsters faring so well against the seasoned drivers.
The DD had plenty of action, wreckage, carnage, head-on's and follow-in's! Lots of laughter and plenty of banter; a great way to finish of a great evening of racing! Jimmy Roggerman, with the biggest, cheekiest smile ever, was the last Junior running tonight, and the last Senior was Adam Longhurst; congratulations boys.
