RCBWS RAMP RACE & 1300 STOCK CARS
The RcBWS finally comes to Brentwood, in the style of the Ramp Racing with All Hearse Shells! We also laid on 1300 Stock Cars as support and had 44 Bangers and 18 Stock Cars in attendance tonight.
RAMP RACING BANGERS
HEAT ONE - Three straight wins put 930 Josh Cant in a strong position for the A Final. 30 Frosty just missed out on the win in round one on splits with Josh, as too did 170 Rock in round two. 555 Dan Morgan took 2nd place in round three, 3 laps behind Josh. 688 Lewis Offord came home in 3rd place in rounds 1 and 2, with 170 Rock taking the 3rd place in round three.

HEAT TWO - 205 Koonta took the chequered flag in rounds 1 and 2, but was denied his 3rd victory by 183 Shaye Hunter. 2nd places went to 183 Shaye Hunter in rounds 1 and 2, and 205 Koonta took 2nd in round three. Coming home in 3rd place was 54 Alec Quarman in rounds 1 and 2, and 383 Divvy finished in 3rd in round three.

B FINAL - Brentwood youngster, 53 Harry Palmer fared well and finished in 5th place with 39 laps. Completing 46 laps placed 738 Jayne Lister in 4th place. Coming home in 3rd place with 48 laps was 510 Lee Johnson, just missing out on promotion to the A Final. In 2nd place with 51 laps was 523 Andrew Gray, but with 9 laps to spare, 371 Sean Foley took the win with ease. So 371 Sean Foley and 523 Andrew Gray were now promoted to the A Final to make it a 30 car race. Congratulations Sean and Andrew!

A FINAL - In 10th place we had 619 Adam Brown, completing 58 laps of this 80 lap race. 9th place went to 365 Sleepy with 59 laps, and in 8th place was 30 Frosty with 62 laps. Coming home in 7th place with 63 laps was 383 Divvy, and finishing in 6th place was 201 Josh Paternoster with 66 laps. So, to the top 5; in 5th place with 67 laps was 170 Rock, and 4th place went to Top Junior, 688 Lewis Offord with 68 laps. Coming home in 3rd place with 76 laps was 183 Shaye Hunter, and finishing with 79 laps, 205 Koonta took 2nd, but completing a perfect score and raising the chequered flag was 930 Josh Cant! Congratulations Josh, well raced.

As well as the fun of the Bangers flying over the ramp today, we also had to remove the ramp to make way for the 1300 Stock Cars. We had 18 here today, split into two heats.
HEAT ONE - Three straight wins once again for 930 Josh Cant, with 201 Josh Paternoster taking 2nd place each round. Coming home in 3rd place in round 1 was 802 Alfie Barnard and in round 2 it was 427 Neil Higgins who took 3rd. 802 Alfie Barnard then took 3rd place once again in round 3.

HEAT TWO - A 4 lap lead gave 183 Shaye Hunter the win in round 1, and a 3 lap lead gave him the win in round 2. In round three it was 403 Daniel Jordan who crossed the line in 1st place. 403 Daniel Jordan took 2nd place in round 1, with 371 Sean Foley coming home in 3rd. 195 Pete Bowley finished 2nd in round 2, followed across the line by 403 Daniel Jordan; and in round three, 2nd place went to 383 Divvy, with 375 Taylor-Jay Liles coming home in 3rd place.

B FINAL - A great 60 laps gave the win to youngster 103 Luke Poole, with 371 Sean Foley coming home in 2nd place 3 laps later. 3rd place went to 144 Julian Poole, with 829 Alfie Parish finishing in 4th place, pushing 662 Midge into 5th place on splits.

A FINAL - 930 Josh Cant, having gained excellent results in the heats, failed to run in the Final. 403 Daniel Jordan completed just 9 laps to place him in 8th place. 7th went to 195 Pete Bowley with 52 laps, and in 6th place was 375 Taylor-Jay Liles with 63 laps. Having completed 65 laps, 802 Alfie Barnard finished in 5th place, and 4th place went to 383 Divvy with 65 laps. With just 1 lap to go, 201 Josh Paternoster finished in 3rd place, and the winner was decided on splits, with 427 Neil Higgins having to settle for 2nd, whilst the winner was 183 Shaye Hunter. Well done Shaye! And well done all!
