So many new faces at the cowshed tonight! And Midge always says, every one of them very welcome! We had a packed pit area tonight, with 13 Junior Bangers, 50 Bangers, 16 2L Saloons and 13 F2 Stocks! With pitting space rapidly filling, it was necessary to erect the gazebo once again, with extra heaters and lighting borrowed, we were set for a fun evening, as usual!

JUNIOR BANGERS
A great show of Juniors tonight, with some new faces making their mark! We had a couple of Charlies triumphing in the first round, with 588 Charlie Charles taking the chequered flag from 570 Charlie Barnard on splits! 93 Harvey Cox had a resounding win in round 2, taking the flag 4 laps ahead of 716 Luke Want, and the 3rd round went to 588 Charlie Charles once again, with a 2 lap lead over 93 Harvey Cox. Great racing boys!

BANGERS
What a great show of Bangers tonight! 50 in total took to the track, split into 2 heats. A great 2 lap win for 22 john Hillyard, who wasn't even coming to race, until his wife slung him out and told him to get out from under her feet! A win in round 2 saw a big smile spread across 203 Jack Booker's face, and in round three, the smile grew even bigger, as he crossed the finish line in first place once again!
In the 2nd heat, 183 Shaye Hunter took the win, one lap ahead of 205 Koonta, with the result reversed in round two. 527 Ashton Armstrong took the win on splits from in round three from 205 Koonta.

So having spent most of his heat involved in some awesome wrecking, 401 Craig Watson changed tactics and took the chequered flag for the B Final, 6 laps ahead of 375 Taylor-Jay Liles in 2nd place, with 116 Wayne Holtom coming home in 3rd.
Regarding the A Final, I bet 22 John Hillyard is happy his wife kicked him out for the evening! Finishing a lap ahead of 183 Shaye Hunter, the flag was waved for John, with 177 Scott Chopping finishing in 3rd place, on splits with Shaye!

Another great show of 2L's again tonight, split into two heats. some great racing on show, with some fast timing! The fastest lap time throughout the 50 lap heats, was in heat 2, round 1, taken by 527 Ashton Armstrong with a best lap time of 2.20! Now that's quick! Well-done Ashton!

What a great race that A Final was! 183 Shaye just took the win from 77 Josh on splits, and 383 Divvy took 3rd on splits from 527 Ashton, who had the fastest lap in a 60 lap race, with a lap time of 2.10! Congratulations guys, some terrific racing there, well-done! good to see the youngster doing so well against the adults!
F2 STOCK CARS
And so we move on to the F2's, again 2 heats required once again, bringing us to a total of 7 heats this evening! Once more, we witnessed some excellent close racing, with heat wins going to 676 Bob Beswick, 572 Rob Barnard, 183 Shaye Hunter, and 205 Koonta (x3). Fastest lap in a 40 lap race went to 570 Rob Gymer, with a single lap time of 2.11 seconds! Great going Rob!
