TEAM CHALLENGE - Team Bangers, 2L Saloons & F2 Stocks
It's back! The long awaited Team Challenge has finally returned! Drivers teamed up in groups of four, all raring to go and see if they can take the Championship title from Team Chelmsford, who are the current Champions. Well it'll be a different name on the winners trophy this year, as Team Chelmsford are no longer, although their drivers are here as a newly formed team, Team Mental, and definitely one's to watch. Keep your eyes peeled on The Krankies, back with an impressive line up! Others to watch are Weekend Warriors, four drivers known for their love of winning; and DWO, drivers known for their love of wrecking, but ability to race when required. But let's face it, anything can happen in team racing, so every team stands a good chance of causing upsets and taking the title!

Also launching their points campaign were the F2 Stocks. Notably missing tonight was Jim Burkett, however we still had thirteen drivers here. Split into two heats, there was a heat win for Steve Harris, two wins for Ian Ardley, and three wins for Shaye Hunter. Racing was exciting as they guys got to grips with the new carpet, giving their outing another treat for spectators. The All-In Final was just as exciting and eventful, with Shaye Hunter crossing the line to take the win, catapulting Shaye to the top of the leader board. Well done Shaye!

Many thanks to Steve Harris, Ness Lane and Daron Lane for travelling down from Leicestershire to join us here in the cow shed for the first time, always good to see new faces here, and always great to see them return, as Steve, Ness and Daron assure us they will, and most welcome they will be too.
