TIME FOR SOME GRANNY BASHING!

We return to the raceway tonight with the All Granada Banger Racing, sponsored by Paul Aylward and Co.  Many thanks to Paul for providing some magnificent trophies for tonight's winners, really appreciated.

JUNIOR BANGERS

1 Jak Conyard, 6 Christian Barber, 11 Jenson McNichol, 53 Harry Palmer, 59 Caitlyn Howard, 81 Billie/Chloe, 115 Sonny Holtom, 225 Kade Honey, 416 Alfie Baker, and 888 Robert Pinnell.

Round One - A great start for Sonny, with a great win, 2 laps ahead of Robert, with Billie/Chloe finishing 3rd.  Jak came home in 4th place, followed by Alfie, taking 5th.  Jenson finished in 6th place, and Caitlyn came home in 7th.  8th place finisher was Kade.  Harry and Christian DNS.

Round Two - Sonny had another great finish, 2 laps in front, with Billie/Chloe finishing in 2nd place on splits from Alfie in 3rd place and Jenson in 4th.  Robert came home in 5th place, with Harry finishing in 6th.  7th place went to Caitlyn, and Kade came home in 8th.  Jak and Christian DNS.

Round Three - Finally making it to the track, Christian took the chequered flag, on splits, from Billie/Chloe, with Robert taking 3rd place on splits from Sonny.  Alfie then took 5th place on splits from Jenson, with Harry finishing in 7th place, a lap ahead of Caitlyn.  Jak took 9th place on splits from Kade, both having completed just 4 laps each!

 

All In Final - Kade DNS.  Robert managed 12 laps before retiring from the race, and finished in 9th place.  Coming home in 8th place with 17 laps was Caitlyn, just losing out to Harry on splits!  Billie/Chloe finished in 6th place with 33 laps, and Jenson just snatched 4th place from Alfie on splits, both finishing with 34 laps.  3rd place went to Jak with 37 laps, while Christian and Sonny battle for the chequered flag and finished on splits; Christian just having the edge over Sonny to take the win!  Well done Christian, you certainly made up for missing your first two races!

Round One - A flying start for Shaye, Dylan, Josh and Brick, all battling it out for the win.  Shaye made it 1st across the line, on splits with Brick!  with Dylan coming home a lap behind to take 3rd place.  Josh finished in 4th place, and Ginge took 5th place on splits from 974 Danny, and Tom!  Rock came home in 8th place, with Bob finishing 9th, and Wayne in 10th place.

Round Two - And another finish on splits, this time between Josh and Dylan, with Josh taking the win and Dylan finishing 2nd.  Rock finished in 3rd place, with Tom taking 4th place on splits from Shaye.  Bob came home in 6th place and Brick followed him across the line to take 7th place.  8th place went to Ginge, with Wayne finishing 9th and 974 Danny crossing the line to take 10th place. 

Round Three - Shaye had another great finish to take his 2nd win of the night, with Dylan crossing the line to take 2nd place.  Bob came home in 3rd place, Brick came home in 4th place, and 5th place went to Tom.  Ginge took 6th place on splits from Josh and 974 Danny, with Wayne taking 9th place and Rock finishing 10th.

Round One - A great start for Sleepy, finishing 3 laps ahead of the field!  Michael took 2nd place on splits from Craig, and Karl crossed the line to take 4th place.  203 Jack came home in 5th place, with Finnley crossing the line to take 6th. James crossed the line to take 7th place, and 146 Jack crossed the line to take 8th place on splits from Divvy, and Jade came home in 10th place.

Round Two - Another win for Sleepy, a lap in front of 2nd placed man, Craig.  203 Jack took 3rd place from Divvy on splits, and Karl finished in 5th place on splits from Finnley, and Michael came home in 7th place with Alan crossing the line to take 8th.  Charlie came home in 9th, taking the place from James on splits.

Round Three - And a hat-trick for Sleepy, finishing 2 laps ahead of 203 Jack who settled for 2nd place.  Craig crossed the line in 3rd place, with Rob taking 4th place.  Michael came home in 5th place, and Karl finished in 6th place on splits from 146 Jack.  Alan took 8th, divvy came home in 9th, and 10th place went to Jamie.

B FINAL

DNS for 68 James, 258 Dave, 194 Gary, 27 Jamie, 50 Ross, 268 Big Buster, and 441 Timmy.  122 Colin completed just 2 laps to finish in 20th place.  Just one lap more placed 114 Ian in 19th place, and 63 Jean crossed the line in 18th place with 8 laps.  18 Dave also completed 8 laps to take 17th place, with 55 Barry crossing the line with 9 laps to finish in 16th place.  10 laps placed 371 Sean in 15th and in 14th was 711 Wobbly with 12 laps.  445 Tony came home in 13th place with 14 laps; 15 laps placed 9 Stuart Davies in 12th place, and 25 Sam crossed the line with 16 laps to take 11th place.  442 Ricky came home in 10th place with 18 laps, and just beating him to 9th place on splits was 129 Simon.  252 Dean came home in 8th place with 22 laps, and 590 Mickey finished in 7th place with 28 laps.  Also scoring 28 laps was 251 Connor, who finished in 6th place.  461 Paul came home in 5th place with 29 laps, just losing out on splits to 68 Jade, who took 4th.  3rd place went to 310 Grinner with 32 laps, crossing the line to take 2nd place was 778 Slimadey with 37 laps, and taking the win and raising the chequered flag was 233 Big Dave!  Well done Dave, a great race!

A FINAL

974 Danny finished with just one lap, and 15 laps gave 676 Bob 21st place.  Bob completed 15 laps to finish in 21st place.  Both 146 Jack and Rob finished with 24 laps, with Jack just having the edge and taking 19th place, pushing Rob down to 20th.  31 laps gave Ginge 18th place, and Wayne came home in 17th place with 32 laps.  Alan crossed the line in 16 th place with 22 laps, while Charlie, James and Finnley all finished with 35 laps, Finnley taking 15th place, James taking 14th place and Charlie taking 13th.  Tom came home in 12th place with 36 laps, and 37 laps placed Brick in 11th place.  203 Jack crossed the line with 38 laps and finished in 10th place, with Shaye and Rock battling for 8th place.  Both finishing with 39 laps, Rock took 9th and Shaye took 8th.  Both Josh and Michael finished with 40 laps, Josh crossed the line to take 7th, and Michael was 6th.  Divvy came home in 5th place with 44 laps, and 46 laps each placed Sleepy in 4th place, Karl in 3rd place and Dylan ib 2nd.  But crossing the line a full 4 laps ahead of the field was Craig, taking his first A Final here at Brentwood!  Congratulations Craig, and what a meeting to win!

Junior trophy winners, 1st - Christian Barber, 2nd - Sonny Holtom, and as 3rd place winner Jak had already gone home, 4th place, Jenson McNichol collected the trophy.

A Final winners, 1st - Craig Watson, 2nd Dylan Ellis and 3rd Karl Dilworth.

Congratulations to all our other trophy winners tonight also, Mickey Galloway and Timmy Deans for their Best Presented Awards; Big Dave Nash for winning the B Final, and to Caitlyn Howard and Karl Dilworth on being last Junior running and last Senior running in the DD.

1300 STOCK CARS

Also out tonight were the ever popular 1300's, with 22 making it to the track!  What a great show!

HEAT ONE - 77 Josh Mackey, 83 Toby Davidson, 114 Ian Ardley, 177 Scott "Brick" Chopping, 186 Tom O'Sullivan, 233 Dave "Big Dave" Nash, 401 Craig Watson, and 570 Rob Gymer.

Round One - A flying start for Craig, crossing the line in 1st place to raise the chequered flag.  Rob took 2nd place from Brick on splits, and Ian came home in 4th place with Toby finishing in 5th.

Round Two - A win this time for Brick, with Craig crossing the finish line a lap behind him to take 2nd place.  Ian took 3rd place on splits from Tom and Rob, pushing Tom into 4th place and Rob in 5th.

Round Three - An extremely close finish, with Rob and Brick battling for the chequered flag!  Finishing on splits, Brick just had the edge and claimed the win, with Rob having to settle for 2nd place.  Craig crossed the line a lap later to claim 3rd place, while 4th went to Ian, on splits from Toby in 5th.

HEAT TWO - 19 James Donovan, 58 Darren "Ginge" Howard, 183 Shaye Hunter, 383 Darren "Divvy" Goldberg, 551 Michael Collins, 662 Simon "Midge" Alexander, and 778 Adrian "Slimadey" Porter. 

Round One - A flying start for Shaye once again, crossing the finish line to take the win from 2nd place man, Michael, who in turn had snatched 2nd from Slimadey on splits!  Crossing the line to take 4th place was Ginge, and finishing in 5th place was James.

Round Two - Wow! An exceptionally close finish, with the top three drivers all on splits!  Shaye had the edge and just managed to take the win, with Michael placed 2nd and James in 3rd.  Well done guys!  Ginge finished in 4th place, and crossing the line to take 5th was Slimadey.

Round Three - A hat-trick of wins for Shaye once again (is there no stopping this lad?  It seems not!), crossing the line 3 laps ahead of the field.  Splits once again divided the next three drivers, with James placed 2nd, Ginge in 3rd and Slimadey in 4th place.  Michael finished in 5th place, just a lap behind them.

HEAT THREE - 27 Jamie Townsend, 50 Ross Mason, 68 Jade Mason, 194 Gary Honey, 258 Dave Lungley, 371 Sean Foley, and 676 Bob Beswick.

Round One - Once again, another win decided on splits, with Bob just managing to snatch the win from Gary, who settled for 2nd place.  Sean finished in 3rd place with Jamie crossing the line to take 4th and Jade coming home in 5th.

Round Two - And again, Bob snatched the win from Gary on splits!  Sean again finished in 3rd place, while Ross came home in 4th place and Jamie crossed the line to take 5th.

Round Three - A hat-trick of wins for Bob, this time a clear two laps ahead of Gary, who again finished in 2nd place.  3rd place this time went to Ross, with Sean finishing in 4th place and Jamie coming home in 5th.

B FINAL

Sadly Big Dave DNS.  258 Dave completed 30 laps to finish in 9th place, with 27 Jamie having to settle for 8th place, having just lost out on splits to 186 Tom in 7th; both finished with 36 laps.  Toby came home in 6th place with 38 laps, and crossing the line to claim 5th place with 41 laps was 68 Jade.  50 Ross came home in 4th place with 45 laps, and 47 laps placed 778 Slimadey in 3rd place.  With 49 laps, 58 Ginge had to settle for 2nd place, while the race winner was 114 Ian with a full 50 laps.  Well done Ian.

A FINAL

Having fared so well in the heat, it was sad to see that 194 Gary was unable to make it to the track for the final. 50 laps gave 371 Sean 8th place, while 551 Michael had to settle for 7th place, having just lost out to 570 Rob on splits! Rob claimed the 6th place, both on 54 laps.  55 laps gave 676 Bob 5th place, with 401 Craig finishing with 56 laps to take 4th place.  177 Brick crossed the line with 59 laps to claim 3rd place, and the top two battled for the win, both coming across the line on splits, with 183 Shaye having to settle for 2nd place as 19 James celebrated his first ever A Final win!  congratulations James, I'm sure that is the first of many to come!
